Lana Basterfield

Nursery Director

Lana has a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Years, and has over 10 years experience of working in the childcare sector.  As our Director, Lana is committed to helping children explore and learn in a hands-on environment. Nothing brings them more happiness than seeing the growth and evolution of our young children that attend our Nursery setting.


Gemma Eaton

Deputy Manager/ Early Years Practitioner

Gemma has a Level 3 in Early Years Educator and has worked in the childcare sector for 14 years, so brings with her a wealth of experience that our children are benefiting from .  Gemma says "it's important for children to have a routine so attending regular nursery sessions is very important ".  Gemma has had training in Autism and Anxiety and has relevant experience of working with children with ASD.

Amanda Robson


Early Years Practitioner

Amanda has a Level 3 Childcare Qualification and brings with her 12 years of childcare experience from working in schools, nurseries and children's centres.  As a mother herself Amanda says " it is important to give the parents the peace of mind that their children are attending a safe and stimulating environment".    Amanda is our Attention Hillingdon Guru and she runs regular sessions at the Nursery.  This in turn plays an important part of the children's routine and helps build children's listening and attention skills which is important for their personal, social and emotional development.

Katie Butler

Early Years Assistant

Katie recently joined the team, and is currently working towards her Level 3 Childcare Educator qualification.  She has a passion for working with children and has had previous experience of working in a school environment.  Katie is our Expressive Arts and Design Director.  Katie says "Expressive Arts provides children with critical ways of thinking and communicating allowing them to be creative and imaginative".


Jessica has completed her apprenticeship and now holds a Level 2 childcare qualification.  Along with her bright and bubbly personality she contributes her creativity to our learning enviroment making her a great asset to our team.   Jessica says "giving the children the freedom to mix with children of different age groups helps build children's confidence".  Jessica has also had training using Sign-a-long which is another method of word signing to communicate with adults and children.
